Color Code External Requirements

External requirements can be color coded on a diagram, to provide quick visual cues indicating the status of a requirement. The color code requirements use these default conventions:

  • Yellow for 'Proposed'
  • Blue for 'Approved'
  • Green for 'Validated'
  • Orange for 'Mandatory'
  • Black for 'Implemented'

You can change these colors, and add or remove status types, using the 'Status Types' dialog.

Start > Workspace > Preferences > Preferences > Objects > Show status colors on diagrams

Enable color coded external requirements

Select the 'Show status colors on diagrams' checkbox to enable the status of external requirements to be represented by color coding.
