Architecture Description

The Architecture Description describes the central aspects of the architecture including the business drivers and goals that led to the architecture being requisitioned, the requirements and constraints, the domain architectures including baseline and target architectures and any required transition architectures. The document will typically be viewed by a number of quite diverse stakeholders and so should be created with these audiences in mind. Senior management such as executive and board level stakeholders will be keen to get an overview of the architecture and how it will contribute to business success and flexibility.
