Data Flow Diagrams

Hi,

Sometime ago another poster suggested the inclusion of DFD diagrams into the tool. I'd like to second that opinion. That way I could drop MS-Visio and make all my work in just one tool. Please note that there are a _lot_ of systems documented with DFD's and ERD's.

Pepe.

Hi Pepe,

Our number one commitment is to be UML compliant - so any inclusion of DFD features would have to be in terms of stereotyped UML elements.
If you could email me a zipped up diagram or two of the sort of thing you are after - I will consider how it might best be tackled within the context of UML and EA.

Consider using Business Model Diagram, its has more potential and it is more complete. You can also connect to the processes a lower level diagram, a use case diagram and even a UI diagram. you can also connect to the objects the relevant class diagram.
