Oddity: Resizing of elements
« on: May 18, 2004, 10:54:46 am »
I have just noticed an odd thing, it is not really a problem, just a curiousity really: I have created an Analysis diagram, created several new Entities by placing them onto a diagram - no problem so far. Now, when I take an entity that already exists in the Project Browser and drag and drop it onto the diagram, it is about twice the size of the "normal" entity.
The same thing happens when I remove a "small" entity from the diagram and drag and drop it again - it is bigger.
I am not sure if this happens with other diagram types or element types, I have only noticed it now. It is not an issue, it is more of a funny thing. Anybody noticed it, too? I am using build 726

Hi Bruno,
I remebered to have found that behaviour too. And yes - it's still there (I use 725). I found this behavoiur just with entity classes (because they have stereotyped icons?). I did not worry much about since I made an Autosize (Alt-Z) in the end (which acually quartered the size of the latter and halfes the size of those placed withouh drag&drop). Maybe Sparx could take this on their duty list.

Hi Thomas,

thanks, I was really just looking for a reassurance that I was not hallucinating! :-)
