Import version controlled packages
« on: October 14, 2011, 06:16:17 am »
Hello,

I have a problem with importing already version controlled packages in a new project.
The XMI model files reside inside a folder and they are already checked out by SVN within windows explorer. Now I want them to be imported but I can't do this.
The dialog under Project -> Model Import/Export -> Batch XMI Import does not show any package.
I wonder where one can configure the path for this dialog?!
I also had no luck to import them with Get Package, since after this the imported packages are marked as checked-in and I cannot access them.
Is it really so complicated to import version controlled packages with all subpackages?

Thanks for any hints,
Juergen

Juergen,

I think you need to create a "Model Branch" to easily import version controlled parts of a model.
