I just corrected a few minor layout errors and republished the book. If you already purchased the Leanpub version, you should have gotten a notification that a new version is available.

Version 11 has been released - with an additional trick on how to insert images to diagrams. Again surprised that apparently, lots of users did not know this.

"Probably the only book about Enterprise Architect in the world"
Definitely not true ;)
Sparxsystems Central Europe offers a book titled "Project Management with UML and Enterprise Architect"

here the table of content for the English edition:http://www.sparxsystems.eu/fileadmin/user_upload/pdfs/Buchcover/Table_of_content_8_eng.pdf
or German edition:
http://www.sparxsystems.de/fileadmin/user_upload/pdfs/UML_mit_Enterprise_Architect_Inhaltsverzeichnis_9.1.pdf

and it's really a good one

I guess I should make it "probably the only book about EA available", since this is what I read about the "project management with UML and Sparx Systems" at the website:

This item is out of stock at the moment please send your inquiry to sales(at)sparxsystems.eu .

not really, it's just a question of some days, then it's available again.
as far as i know the reason is the increased demand in the last time

OK. In any case, I am interested in the book.

Meanwhile, I've released a new version of Fifty Enterprise Architect Tricks with an additional trick in the bonus chapter:

All current readers have been informed that they can download the new version for free.

Does it contain information about

1: Creating profiles
2: Affecting the way these profiles generate source code
3: How to do simple stuff like the various ways of creating properties?

@mrpmorris: you can consult a complete table of contents here: http://bit.ly/EATricks (there's a free to download sample chapter too).

I did not yet write about generating source code from EA, because I don't use EA for that. All the tricks I write about are from my own experience.

I am planning to write a separate chapter about how to develop your own toolbox in EA (which is an advanced subject).

Some of the tricks are really simple, but it's often the simple tricks that bring you lots of value. Of course, I steer away from really evident things like how to open the notes of an element.

Hope that helps.

P.

Hi Peter

I think you should keep on writing another e-books about EA, I already have your first one, another one could be "50 more Advance Tricks". I can email you some sugestions.
Best regards
