Error while initializing Version Control provider
« on: December 08, 2015, 03:10:45 am »
It's about 2 weeks ago I last worked on a project and suddently today, I got following message when trying open a project:

Error while initializing Version Control provider:
TFS reports the following error:
TF30063: You are not authorized to access 172.17.33.59\TFS2013_Test.

Followed by another pop-up: Failed to initialize Version Control provider!

The project uses MSSQL and TFS2013.

Only thing I can think of is that I changed my windows password about a week ago, can this be the reason?

The model seems to be fine but I cannot use 'Get latest...' or anything regarding to version control.

I cannot delete existing 'version control setting/defined configuration' to set up a new...

How can I solve it and get the project up and running again?

Mine keeps working after password changes, so my best guess is that there is actually a problem on the TFS side as the message suggests.

Have you tried checkin/checkout of the files outside of EA?

Changing password was the first thing I tried...

And I don't see any problem in VisualStudio/TFS, I can create workspace and also 'Get latest version'...but EA seems to be careless.

It must be somehow possible to load model & version control from scratch...right?
