Union and subset
« on: February 05, 2016, 04:59:47 am »
Hello all,

My apologies for my bad english...

I got to define that an role is a derived union, but I can not define that a role in a association with a subclass is a subset of that union. I did not found where I can define it. Someone can help me in it?

I'm not entirely sure I'm following your problem description, but highlight the association select Properties on the left hand side of the dialogue box that appears you'll see [General | Roles(s) | Constraints | Binding].  Select Roles.  You'll find union and derived union down the bottom under advanced.

To define a subset, right click on the relationship and select Advanced |  Specializations.
