SOLVED: Can't connect to cloud server on Mac

It is supposed EA is multiplatform, so I installed it on a Mac, but when trying to connect to a cloud server it throws an error number (-2147467261 in my case) and the connection is not loaded.

Has anybody tested cloud connectivity from a Mac?

Did you install the mdac28 component in wine? (Usually done through winetricks)

Yes, I have it installed. Any other thing to check? is it supposed to work fine on Mac? I also note that some diagrams (kanban, for example) don't behave well.

I've personally used the cloud service from a mac.

If you've installed everything requested on the instructions I don't have any ideas. Probably worth sending a support request using the form.

After a "succesful" instalation on Mac, when trying to connect to a cloud server, EA is throwing the following error message:

Microsoft OLEDB Persistence Provider
[-2147467263]
Requested functionality is not implemented.

Any ideas?

SOLVED:

The problem was :
  • I was trying to execute EA from Wine
  • Missing IE6 installation
  • Missing CrossOver installation
  • Missing executing EA from crossover to install missing components
