Tried to extend stereotype EAUML::testset
« on: August 10, 2016, 05:15:52 am »
Hi,

I tried to extend the EA stereotypes EAUML::testset. When I drag my stereotype to the canvas the tab for EAUML:testset is missing. Only my new stereotype is there.

I tried the same with EAREQ::FunctionalRequirement and it works fine. XML looks also similar. The same content, generalizes, baseStereotype, only the names are different.

Is there something special about testset, testsuite and testcut?

Any idea?

Thanks for your help!

Helmut

Are you a 100% sure a little spelling mistake hasn't creep in?  :)

Hi,

thanks for your response.

You made me rethinking and after some trying I found it.

It worked and the tagged values were correctly located in the Tags Tab. Sadly, the stereotype I used has no tagged value and therefore nothing to see. After your response I used the View stereotype and could see:
- New behavior
- Tagged values

Thanks and kind regards,

Helmut

No problems, I've spent hours swearing at the tool and staring at the XML only to come in the next morning and notice a spelling mistake immediately on many an occasion.   :)
