How to remove foreign keys from duplicated tables
« on: September 09, 2017, 01:19:11 am »
I've duplicated table (through Copy / Paste element) with foreign key. I want to remove that key from the duplicate. When trying this through constraint, it tells me that correct way is through association. But I can't see any association for the duplicate in the diagram? Any idea how to do it?

Maybe the connector in the diagram is overlapping the original connector. Try moving a bit the connector in the diagram to make the another connector visible.

The connectors can't overlap. They join different tables (original table with master table vs. duplicate table with master table).

Try creating a new association between the new table and the master table. This can open the foreign keys window, or you can open it by right-clicking the connector.

I tried this at the very beginning. It creates completely new key.
