I guess not. It's more like a hint to Sparx: Hey, your page is incomplete.

Not sure where the problem lies. I have clicked the link you attached, and there is a short intro paragraph and a Topics button. Clicked on the button, a short menu of options. Selected an option, clicked on the Topics button, and a huge list of guides displays for that subject area.  Can you do that?

Or you can use the PDF versions of the same documents, which Sunshine linked to.

It should be clearer that you need to press the topics button.

I would venture to say that most people do NOT use the "[<Prev]" or "[Next>]" buttons to navigate the Help system, so "[Topics>]" on its own is unfamiliar.

It DOES look like an incomplete page if you're used to "point and click" on links.

Hey Glassboy, can you nitpick again and tell Paolo that you don't press a screen button, you click on it?

I will forward your point to the decision-makers.

It was a Surface Pro and I pressed it.  :P

(and what's more, it worked!)

Ok, I opened this issue because when I was on page http://sparxsystems.com/resources/user-guides/index.html#guidebooks
I expected to see what is on page:
http://sparxsystems.com/resources/user-guides/index.html#guidebooks
Now I realized that link 1 is just a html representation of link 2 with an UI I personally was not able to use.
Best regards,

Those two links look identical to me. Could you, Peter, clarify what your problem was? What UI could you not use?

To respond to Paolo's earlier point, the web interface people are now investigating how to make the Topics button more self-explanatory. It isn't as simple as it might seem, because the header line has to be able to massage itself to fit into an iPhone display as well. No promises.

A simple additional text at the bottom of the page:
"To see further topics, use the [Topics>] button to navigate further."
would suffice!  8)

Gosh, that could be the tooltip on the [Topics>] button,   ;)

YesyesyesyesyesNooooo.

Most topics are longer than a display screen, so if someone doesn't want to read the topic but move to another, they won't see the message at the bottom of the topic. They might not even read the text even if the topic is short enough to display on one screen.  You have to label the Topics button as the thing to click on to see more topics. Calling it 'Topics' is not enough for some people.

Maybe try calling them what they are...  Subtopics.

Verily thou sayest that the topic is what one seeth on the screen, therefore the others be below this one, and be thus subtopics.

I will forward your point to the decision-makers.

Well the lenovo stinkpad I'm currently using allows me to press a screen button, so I don't think I'm the person for this job.

Also I've been trying to learn more about the BA stuff in EA recently and I've been in some of those sections of the help site and the navigation is a little bit confusing.
