Stereotype and override
« on: June 28, 2006, 06:18:57 pm »
When considering inheritance, EA (incorrectly, in my view), considers an Attribute in the specialized Class to NOT be the same Attribute (and therefor, overridden) in the generalized Class if they have different stereotypes.

I'm not sure this is conceptually correct.   ???

Since you can't assign multiple stereotypes to an Attribute this makes life very uncomfortable and the model unwieldy.

Thoughts?

I'll report it as a bug, if there's a consensus.

TIA,
Paolo
