How to model a communication stack
« on: August 17, 2010, 10:40:55 pm »
Hi
I'm trying to model the association between two classes that reside on different processors. The communication between them is handled trhough a communication stack.

I was thinking about using an association class that would embedd the stack; I'm not sure this is the rigth approach.. anyway I've also discovered that the association class can only be connected to one association only, whereas the communicationm stack interface would be used also between other classes.

Do you have other suggestions or improvements to my idea?
Many thanx

A stack is a class that offers push and pop as operations. It is deployed on two different machines.
