links between EAP projects
« on: April 24, 2014, 08:33:24 pm »
I have 2 ".EAP" project.
Project1 has the ClassDiagram1. Project2 has SequenceDiagram2.
I want to add interfaces from ClassDiagram1 in  SequenceDiagram2.
How can I use ClassDiagram1 objects in Project2?
Is it possible in Enterprise Architect to create link  from one project to other project?

Export package from repos1 and import it in repos2. Do not tick "strip GUIDs" so you keep them the same in both. Additionally you should protect the imported package against changes by either using version control or EA's build-in security.

Thanks.
But imported package will not support changes that can be added in source package (ClassDiagram1 in Project1).
I'm looking for a variant when objects from Project2 will be linked on objects from Project1.

You will need both packages in both repositories in order to do that.

Consider having a shared controlled package.  Works with our without vc in place.  Still as q mentioned you need to have them in both models
