Title: Displaying the name of ancestor class
Post by: shai on December 18, 2001, 07:19:19 am
1. When an inherited class is used on a new diagram (and the ancestor class is not present), you cannot know from the diagram, that the class is inherited and who is his ancestor. Nor you can see it on a printed RTF.

The way it is done in other tools is to display the class name in italic and display the ancestor class name above it.

2. There is a nother importent issue, displaying the ancestor class attribue and methods in the inherited class.

Hi,

We will be looking at adding ancestors and implements references early in the new year - much the same as you suggest. I would expect the behaviour to be there by end of January at the latest.
