Automation Interface, Add-Ins and Tools / Re: MDG - change diagram icon

Hello,

now I get it. I have to give the appropriate name to the metaclass. In my case, the name is "Diagram_Analysis".

Best regards

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Are there other attributes that are inherited by the extend?

If I extend another diagram, I have no way to use my own toolboxes. Because the corresponding attributes can be defined only in a metaclass.

Automation Interface, Add-Ins and Tools / MDG - change diagram icon
« on: December 07, 2017, 03:07:52 am »
Hello everybody,

is it possible to change the icon from a diagram? The diagram I specified displays the icon of a class diagram. However, I want to display the icon of an analysis diagram.

I suppose I have to add an attribute to the stereotype or the metaclass.

(For example, the icon appears on the left of the diagram types when a diagram is added to a package.)

Thanks a lot.

Best regards

Automation Interface, Add-Ins and Tools / add TaggedValue to package
« on: November 03, 2017, 01:32:44 am »
Hello everybody,

is there a way to add TaggedValue via C# source code to a package? This is possible within the EA. EA.Package objects do not provide access to TaggedValues.

Thank you very much, works perfect.

Could you give me a short example how to work with the database in EA? There should be something to get access to the DB. Like a connector or a database object.

Hey,

I'm trying to create an addin in VS C# which automatically creates a sequence diagram. I can add elements and I can add connectors from element a to element b, but the order of the connectors goes wrong. Example:

I set the relations as followed:
1) A ---> B
2)            B ---> C
3) A ----------> C

But 2) and 3) swapped to the following result:
1) A ---> B
3) A ----------> C
2)            B ---> C

It looks like he prints all connectors from element a first, then all from element b and so on. Is there a way to set the order of the connectors like added?
