How can I import from other sources?

Packages can be imported from other sources through the use of XMI. XMI is based on XML for use in transferring UML model, and comes in a variety of formats, many of which are officially sanctioned.

How do I import elements from a spreadsheet?

Enterprise Architect provides a mechanism for importing text with a fixed structure. The simplest method is to import these text files into a spreadsheet and export this text as a CSV ('Comma Separated Values') or tab delimited format file.
