Define Stereotype Tagged Values

You can define additional meta-information for a stereotype by adding various types of Tagged Value, which you identify as attributes of the Stereotype element. The simplest Tagged Values are those for which you type plain text into the 'Value' field.

Access

Display the 'Attributes' page of the '<element> : Features' dialog, using one of the methods outlined here.

Design > Element > Attributes

In Project Browser | Right-click on element | Features and Properties | Attributes

In diagram | Right-click on element | Features and Properties | Attributes

Click on this button to clear the dialog fields ready for creating a new attribute.

Name

Type the name of the tag you are assigning to the Stereotype element.

Type

Click on the drop-down arrow and select the attribute type.

Initial

(Optional.) Type the initial value of the tag.

Notes

Type a description of the tag.

Save

Click on this button to save the new attribute details.

Close

Click on this button to close the 'Attribute Properties' dialog.
