Hide or Show Element or Relationship Name Labels |
Select the 'Hide Labels' (or 'Show Labels') context menu option. The icons in the page then 'wrap' within the page, without text labels. When you hide the labels, you can display the label of an individual element or relationship by moving the cursor over the icon. |

Pinning Individual Pages to Display All the Time |
Select the 'Pin in Toolbox' context menu option. For example, if you 'pinned' the expanded 'Class' page, and switched to the 'Communication' pages, the Toolbox would include a collapsed 'Class elements' page below the 'Communication' pages. You can also pin a 'SysML Common' page to the Toolbox, simply by making the SysML 1.4 Technology the Active technology for your work login. These Toolbox pages are automatically pinned and cannot be unpinned:

Unpinning Pages |
To unpin the expanded page so that it displays only in its own Toolbox group, select the 'Unpin from Toolbox' context menu option. This applies to pages pinned from the context menu or through the 'Pinned Toolbox Pages' dialog (see the Tailor Toolbox to List all Required Pages at Once table). |

Collapsing Pages |
To collapse a page to just show the heading (such as 'Class', 'Documents' or 'UML Standard Profile'), select the 'Collapse the current branch' option. Alternatively, click on the page name. To expand the page again, click on the page name. |

Setting a Toolbox Page as the Package Default |
You can set a Toolbox page to be shown whenever a specific Package is selected in a view such as the Specification Manager. Click on the Package in the Browser window, then locate and select the required page in the Diagram Toolbox. Either:
Now click on the 'Set as Package Default' menu option. An SSDefaultToolbox tag is added to the current Package, with the fully qualified name of the current Toolbox page as its value. The Toolbox page will now be loaded into the Toolbox as the default whenever the Package is selected in the Specification Manager or other view. |

On the context menu, click on the 'Set Toolbox Visibility' context menu option. (This option is also displayed in the drop-down menu.) The 'Pinned Toolbox Pages' dialog displays, showing all the Toolbox pages available under the currently-selected Perspective. Initially, the currently-selected Perspective is the global perspective identified on the <perspective name> icon at the top right of the application screen. Click on the <perspective name> button at the top of the dialog and select the Perspective Group and Perspective most appropriate to the area you are working in. If you want to examine diagrams across the model from any Perspective, select the 'All' option. Changing the Perspective in the 'Pinned Toolbox Pages' dialog does not change the 'global' perspective on the icon. If you want to re-set the 'Pinned Toolbox Pages' dialog Perspective to the global Perspective, simply click on the <perspective name> button and select 'Active'. |

By default, the dialog lists the element pages only, in alphabetical order. To include the corresponding relationship pages, select the 'Show Relationship Pages' checkbox at the bottom of the dialog. |

For each page to display on the Toolbox, select the 'Pinned' checkbox. Deselect the checkbox if you no longer require a page to be displayed. |

When you have defined the list of pages to display, click on the . The pages you have selected are pinned to the Toolbox in a collapsed state, underneath the current diagram-type pages. |

To expand a page, click on the heading. To remove an individual page, expand it, right-click on it, and select the 'Unpin from Toolbox' option. |
Notes
- On a Toolbox page for an MDG Technology or UML Profile, if you right-click directly on a Profile element an additional option - 'Synchronize Stereotype' - is available at the end of the context menu; this enables you to synchronize the Tagged Values and constraints for all elements created from the selected Profile element
- MDG Technologies can impose their own Toolbox page visibility; for example, if ICONIX is the active technology, all six ICONIX pages are automatically exposed in the Toolbox
- If the active Technology pages duplicate UML or Extended pages (as the ICONIX pages do), the pinned Technology pages override and replace the pinned UML and Extended pages; for example, if ICONIX is active and you have pinned the 'Extended | Analysis' page, the 'Analysis' page in the list is the ICONIX-defined page, not the 'Extended | Analysis' page
