Title: Sequence Diagram Generation from Code Analyzer
Post by: cgluk on April 10, 2014, 07:35:47 am
Hello Community,

I was wondering if anyone was having any luck generating sequence diagrams from a running java program.

I currently have set up the execution analyzer build/run scripts (including the SSJavaProfiler75 agent) and am able to launch my program from within EA.  I launch the Recorder and attempt to attach to the running java process, but after I do this nothing seems to happen.  There are no logged events captured.  I believe it is 'attached' to the running program, since if I kill the running program the debug window logs that the Debug Session Ended.

When I set up the recorder I specify a Recording Set that I created that is a mark up of the only class in the simple test program I wrote.  I'm wondering if there are any obvious settings I'm missing.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
-Chris

I am getting exactly same issue on tomcat. Please help. Also there is one unusual thing  happening i.e. as i put a recording point in code (inside EA) it's color is pink but once I attach tomcat process (java.exe) to recorder color of breakpoint is changes to red. Following is the link to screenshot of the same.
