Title: Adding new columns to UML class diagram
Post by: RogerVDK on January 03, 2019, 01:01:42 am
Is it possible to add new columns (besides the existing 6) under attributes in the UML diagram.

What do you mean by "columns under attributes"?

Rather place the image on a public server (though that's a PITA) and post the link here.

If you don't already have a favorite image hosting site, check out imgur.com, you can even copy/paste your image on that site, so the hassle it limited.

My guess is you're talking about the Attributes tab on the Features & Properties window. In most tables in EA, if you want to see which columns are available you can right-click one of the column headings and use the Field Chooser command. Unfortunately, in this case it shows that the six columns you get by default are the only columns available (Name, Type, Scope, Stereotype, Alias, Initial Value).

Hi Roger,

As indicated by KP you cannot add any more columns to that view.

Are you looking to add new properties to an attribute you might want to look into tagged values.
If you are looking to show existing properties of attributes in an tabular way, you can use (SQL) searches to do that.
