It would be great to have some support for reverse engineering and generating Scala code.

Suggestions and Requests / Crossing Lines

As per Scott Ambler's "The Elements of UML 2.0 Style", are there any plans to allow the depiction of crossing lines as a jump ?

Suggestions and Requests / Re: Auto layout on diagram subset
« on: January 16, 2006, 07:19:48 am »
Would it be more useful to do the reverse, i.e. select a number of elements as "anchored" on the diagram and then let auto layout rearrange all of the other elements ?

General Board / Re: EA 12 DDL Code Generation
« on: February 16, 2015, 10:40:59 pm »
I've tried the 'old' route, i.e. right click on package -> Code Engineering -> Generate DDL, and the 'new' one, i.e. Database Builder -> Database Compare Tab -> Generate DDL. Same result in both cases.

I'm going to raise a bug report and go back to V11.

Yes - it did work with V11.

General Board / EA 12 DDL Code Generation
« on: February 14, 2015, 05:06:32 am »
DDL Code Generation does not seem to work for me under EA 12. No matter what settings I chose, I just get a blank file generated.

Any suggestions?

General Board / RTF Document Tables
« on: March 03, 2006, 09:13:16 am »

I'm trying to set up some standard RTF Document templates that reflect our project standards. The problem I have is setting up tables.

Basically, when I set up the table, I go through the following process:

  • I place the titles in the first row,
  • I add the required element fields in the second row, and
  • I remove any line between the end of the table and the end of the section to which I am adding the table - this is to ensure the table does not create extra lines when generated.

When I generate the report, I get a document that has multiple tables each with a heading row and one row of details.

Has anyone else had this problem ? If so, I would be intrigued to know how you can get this to work properly.

General Board / Re: Version Control and Reusing Packages
« on: February 09, 2006, 07:43:11 am »
After investigation, it appears that the reason the Version Control Unique Id was not set was that the packageFlag tag in the xmi did not have a "VCCFG=Version Control Unique Id value" attribute. This is normally created by the export process but appears not to be set consistently for certain package types, e.g. Model level packages under the root.

I have managed to resolve my problem by exditing the xmi file manually and then re-importing.

Has anyone else had this problem ?

General Board / Version Control and Reusing Packages
« on: January 13, 2006, 06:49:35 am »

I'm trying to set up some procedures for sharing packages that are versioned in ClearCase between models. I particularly want to be able to reuse packages that contain frameworks and technical services to use with new projects but with the proviso that they are read only.

I understand that all I need to do is import the required packages, however, when I do I find that I do not have the Version Control Unique Id set so the package is marked as being under source control (i.e. has a red rectangle next to it) but is editable.

I have the Version Control Unique Id set up but can not associate it with the package. Can anyone help ?

Thanks 8)

Bugs and Issues / DDL Template Syntax
« on: September 22, 2015, 06:39:02 pm »
The DDL_TABLE_TAGVALUE ([tagName])  function in the DDL Template Syntax does not return any values when called with the name of a Tag that does exist. Does this work for anyone and, if so, what am I missing?
