I can offer you some left over bananas. Would that help?

Likely. The few that learn (a bit) are constantly being "backed up" by new ones coming up. I don't remember exactly since when we have this menu discussion (probably 9.3 or even earlier). Since then it came back every new major EA release.

When will users learn that Sparx never learns?

Bugs and Issues / Re: Reporting Bugs/Features best practice.

Is there somewhere, even just for for registered users, to search so as to know what has already been reported?
No. And seeing (or not seeing) bugs getting fixed I suppose they print out bugs with a number on it and file/pile it in a dark corner.

There you are. There's a current thread dealing with that.

To make it short: it's a Sparxian quirk. The requirement type is stored in the stereotype. And there's another table that hold valus for the drop down. Bah, this won't take me down!

Shouldn't the Sparxian sales persons know? Can't you reach them via mail?

As bknoth2 said it's a matter of experience. It's a good idea to hire an experienced trainer/consultant to get you going at least the first steps. It's not an easy road and Sparx is doing their best to make it even harder with each version they release :-/

Well, if you are busy implementing more useless features there isn't any time left for making bug fixes. Seems logical to me.

Bugs and Issues / Re: Problem with the Stereotype representation

I you insist on using German (argh, like during my Siemens time) you need to create your own meta type with an MDG. But, as Paolo said, <<enumeration>> is a keyword. Your Aufzählung will be something else than an enumeration. So for example the attributes will show a visibility if you derive it from a class meta type.

If you're writing it for the search menu use %WC% as replacement for the wild card.

Haha. Nice suggestion. Searching for SVG just returns this very thread. If that search wouldn't be such a PITA people eventually would use it.

What makes me wonder is that the package shows a stereotype in the browser. My V13.5 doesn't do that.

I remember some feature once introduced into EA which made graphical moves change nesting. There is IIRC an option in that forest (ask Brother John if Robin isn't around) to turn that behavior off. It might as well be a bug. I'm using state machines only on a moderate level and never with code generation. So it might be something else as well, include bug or Sparxian thinking.

Just as a remark: Element.Modified = true seems odd since a) it's a date and b) it's r/o. You could/should remove that.
