You can also copy the guid of each element from the project browser:
Right click | Copy / Paste | Copy Node GUID to Clipboard

Geert

Thanks, it works  :)

In the properties window, Project section

OK, but where can I invoke this Property window in 15.1?
At previous versions it was simple.

I installed 15.1 and I don't see the GUID anywhere as an element property in the Browser, in older versions I saw it somewhere.
Where can I see the GUID of an element?
(I need to see it for checking in the outside program)

There are too large arrows (control flow ends) in the BPMN diagram, how can I reduce them?

Thanks for the answer  :)

1. Open Package / MDA Transformation / MDA templates

2. Create new template by button New Transformation Type (up), then enter value ( = the name of new template).

The new template with default template is created...

... and generating code after MDA C# template (built in EA) is also OK.

Can anybody try these steps to make me sure the problem is not at me?

Thanks.

Thanks,
but the difference is between the packages, the path is the same,
first package is made manually (generating OK)
the second is made by MDA Default Template (generating failed)
the path is the same.

The position of problem is identified:

steps:

1. I have created some CLASS model in Package, generation code in C# is OK.
2. Then I have I created MDA Default Template (with no changes in template)
3. I have created new Package by MDA transformation with this Default Template.
4. Generating code on new Package failed, the error occurred

Is it bug or something wrong in these steps?

General Board / error open file after code generation
« on: June 14, 2016, 07:14:37 am »
Hi,

after code generation in C# from package I see message "...completed", but the error message is shown:

"An error occurred opening file .... cs"

and no C# file cs is generated.

Any suggestions?

thanks, jumbie.

Quote
somewhere in your shape script you will want the command

Code: [Select]
print("#name#");

Thanks, it works, now I have found it also in EA HELP, site Example Scripts with a lot of code.  :)

General Board / Re: Network Error
« on: April 28, 2009, 06:02:55 am »
I have the same problem with MySQL connection (ODBC driver 5.1):

1. MySQL and EA are installed on the same local machine (for testing)

2. All tests of connection and MySQL clients are working good with username = ROOT , pswd is empty, another combination of username and pswd are not working

3. EA reports "network error"

Can anybody help me?

General Board / Re: Problem with RTF report for Model Issues
« on: February 03, 2007, 08:06:54 am »
I have the same problem with the CZECH RTF reports, I think it is a little bug, because:

I have set all parameters to required values (language = 1029 Czech, codepage = 852 Eastern Europe, 238 East Europe). There are 2 generators for RTF in EA. One of them "the great with filters" works well (special Czech characters are good). The second "little" generator with smaller form makes bad characters. You can switch between generators by button "Switch generator". The quick solution for you is not to use the "small" generator.

I think, when EA coders will compare this 2 generator codes, they will repair this bug.

General Board / help with custom view - AddTab
« on: February 26, 2007, 02:23:28 pm »
I have this problem with custom view created by my own user control OCX, please help me:

In VB 6.0, this code does not work:

Dim lMyUctrl As Project1.UserControl1

Set lMyUctrl = Repository.AddTab("Hello", "Project1.UserControl1")

The tab is created in EA with name “Hello” correctly, but setting the returned object from AddTab into lMyUctrl is raising run-time error “Type mismatch”.

Can You help me with a little advice?

Thanks.
