Information about Add-ins are stored in HKCU registry.
So, you need to copy registry key of installed user to all other users.

Whole path is:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sparx Systems\EAAddIns\BPMN

Hope this helps.

Hi patriciorocca,

Our RaQuest support team has confirmed that we
can reproduce problem which you said.

But as I said before, currently we can't assure that RaQuest
works fine on Linux. Now there is automation error
while creating EA object.

Hi patriciorocca,

I forwarded your post to RaQuest support team, but
as far as I know, we (SparxSystems Japan) don't
assure that RaQuest works fine on Linux (wine).

Hello Jim,

As you said, now it's impossible to download it. After then,
I made it to MDG Technology file to support Ruby file
extension (.rb) but I haven't upload the new file.

Currently I have no plan to upload it to public area,
but I'm sure you will receive good news from Sparx
development team in the future.

Automation Interface, Add-Ins and Tools / Beta code template for Ruby
« on: August 11, 2005, 07:03:39 pm »
Hello all,

Now I make code tempalte for Ruby. But it's first BETA
version.
Please tell me if you find any bugs, mistakes and suggestions.

http://www.sparxsystems.jp/bin/ruby_code_template.xml

Finally, I'll upload it to EA User Group website.

Now I'm making templates for Perl and C. I'll post them
after making BETA version.

How to use::

1. add language 'Ruby' from Configuration->Language
DataTypes
(Press 'Add Product' button and add dummy type -
EA doesn't recognize if there is no type definition.)
2. import the XML file
3. make Classes and set language type to 'Ruby'.

Sample::

Sample Source Code::

Code: [Select]

class TheClass < ParentClass

 attr_accessor :att1
 attr_reader :att2
 attr_writer :att3

def initialize(att1, att2, att3)

 @att1 = att1; @att2 = att2; @att3 = att3
 @att4 = "hoge"

end

def ==(other)

 other.att1 = @att1 && other.att2 = @att2 && other.att3 = @att3

end

#comment of op1
def op1(param1)

end

def op2()

end
private :op2

end

Automation Interface, Add-Ins and Tools / Re: How to deploy Add/Ins

Hello Roman,

Please copy your DLL to the same directory as EA installed directory, and run regasm.exe with DLL name.

Hope this helps.

Automation Interface, Add-Ins and Tools / Re: Slow execution of vbs
« on: March 13, 2006, 07:28:08 pm »
Hello,

EA is activeX automation server, so when you use Repository object,
EA.exe will start in the background.
(And after script is finished, EA.exe will be shut down.)

So, it will take seconds to start script, it depends on your machine power.

You need more code like following after Elements.AddNew method:

Set activityDiagramObject = activityDiagram.DiagramObjects.AddNew ("")

activityDiagramObject.ElementID = activityElement .ElementID

activityDiagramObject.Update

(I don't test these code, so it may contain some error...)

Hello Carlos,

Basically, there are two reasons to show the dialog:

1. Plug-in isn't installed correctly
2. You don't use Eclipse SDK, but use Eclipse runtime binary, etc.

Hope this helps.

Hello Guillaume,

I forward answer from RaQuest support team:

RaQuest can export to HTML, Word, CSV and Excel,
but RaQuest can import from only CSV at the moment.
The ability to import Word has not been implemented yet.

However, RaQuest can register phrases or sentences on
MS-Word documents as requirements with Word Add-In feature.
It is possible even by the evaluation version.

For details about the usage of Word Add-in,
please look at Word Add-in page of the help.

Automation Interface, Add-Ins and Tools / Re: MDG Link for VS.NET
« on: November 18, 2004, 10:28:59 pm »
Hello Martyn,

I know a case that MDGLink can't communicate
with some version of VS.NET. MDGLink VSNET
requires VS.NET 2003, so I recommend to check version
and apply all patches for VS.NET 2003.

Automation Interface, Add-Ins and Tools / Re: Requirments Management Tool
« on: November 03, 2004, 01:17:33 pm »
Hello all,

As I wrote to 'General Board', we released Requirement management tool for EA, 'RaQuest'.

I also think EA can handle and manage requirements.
One of the proof is that 'RaQuest' is made by EA Automation Interface.

But I think it's better if there is any tool to manage them effectively and track changes.
Our 'RaQuest' provides more 'Views' to manage them and means to track each requirement.

Please check and try from:
http://www.sparxsystems.jp/RaQuest/

I think many of barny451's requests are resolved with RaQuest. RaQuest is 'baby' software,
so please tell me your impression to be good software.
