Reverse Engineering from .NET Assemblies?
« on: July 17, 2002, 09:56:00 am »
I'm in process of evaluating EA for use in .NET projects, primarily using C#. So far the product is very impressive and I've found reverse engineering from C# source code to work quite well.

I'm wondering if the ability to reverse engineer classes from assemblies for which the user does not have source code is planned/possible in future releases.

Specifically, I'd like the ability to reverse engineer classes from the Framework Class Libraries which have been referenced from source code. e.g. if my source code is using System.Net.Sockets.Socket I'd like to be able to include it as an element in my diagrams without having to define it manually.

Thanks,
