I get problems when I baseline lager packages within EA, when I am connected via cloud connection.

Sometimes I get an error while the baseline creation is running but always  get an error message at the end (after temp xmi file is created).
However the baseline is created anyway (but who knows if correct?).

Error message is:
Sparx System Cloud service [2009]
Error retrieving results: WAIT_TIMEOUT
When using an ODBC connection I do not have those problems at all

Any idea (cloud connection goes over IIS)?
Best regards,

Peter Heintz

Hi Peter.

I am with the same issue. Have you found a solution to it?

Thanks in advance

Francisco

Hi Francisco,
I just do not use cloud connection when I do baselining.
Best regards,

This issue is relatively common using the IIS plugin. Just one of the reasons why I'd recommend avoiding that if possible. It's just an extra layer where things can go wrong.

I'm far from an IIS expert, but I suspect what happens is that IIS is configured with a maximum post size that it is accepting and it's just dropping any requests that exceed that limit.

In any way the best way to deal with this is to drink the lager. Muhahaha.
