Hi,

I want to have fixed license keys control over my addin.
I triedto use the following methods:
EA_AddinLicenseGetDescription and EA_AddinLicenseValidate.

I put basic implementation of these events in my AddIn
i.e.
returning bool false - for EA_AddinLicenseValidate
returning string "Sample" - for  EA_AddinLicenseGetDescription
But nothing happends

Can someone who used this mechanism provide some sample how those events be activated?

Thanks

We had a discussion about that on this forum a few weeks ago.
You should be able to find it using the search option.

Was already there before posting this post!

http://www.sparxsystems.com/enterprise_architect_user_guide/13.5/automation/add-in_license_management_even.html

Let me be more precises,
My questions are:
1. Where is the 'License Management' dialog located
2. What is the Sparx Systems Keystore?

hope i will manage from there... can you assist with that?

To be honest, I'm not sure how you are using the key store API commands without already having the information you are asking for. However...

You provide a link to a Help topic. If you click on the link under 'Learn More' at the end of the topic, you will display another Help topic that tells you how to open and use the License Management dialog.

The Sparx Systems Keystore is a service for managing multiple licence keys. It can be file-based or server-based. The Keystore Service software is a separate product, available to licensed users of Enterprise Architect. It can be downloaded from Sparx Systems Keystore Service section on the Registered Users section of the Sparx Systems web site. However, in Release 14.0 of EA, the Keystore service is integrated with the Pro Cloud server.
