Document Generation; How to render Events of Tiggers
« on: May 23, 2018, 12:24:59 am »
I have within a uml.trigger, defined a Signal specification. Now I want to show this trigger specification in my generated document. To do that, I tried to user the Event section in the document template but nothing is generated.

What template section is right to handle the trigger specifications?
Best regards,

Peter Heintz

As it seems there is no way to include triggers in the template editor, you can explore the database in order to determine how your triggers are stored. Then, you can do a Document fragment to get the information of you trigger via an SQL. After that, just include your fragment into your document.

I think you would render an event of Tiggers as having a top made out of rubber and a bottom made out of springs...

Yes, I mean triggers and not the tiggers, and I to want render events assigned to them.
How can I do that?
Best regards,

Is there anyone who knows if it is possible to render events assigned to trigger on documents without scripting, and if so how?

I don't think you need scripting, but you will probably need an SQL fragment as previously suggested.
