Support LDAP within WebEA
« on: June 11, 2018, 08:00:15 pm »
Enterprise Architect allows configuring user security on model repository level.
Apart of defining dedicated EA users and passwords, EA allows to use authentication against a windows account as well. These windows accounts are often maintained within a LDAP/ADS server.
To reuse the security defined in a model which uses Windows authentication, WebEA shall provide a interface to such an LDAP server.
Best regards,

LDAP integration is often a minimum requirement for any enterprise-wide tool deployment.

My employer sells a number of services that offer LDAP as standard for identity management and authentication.  Increasingly we're finding that customers are declining to use LDAP.  For web apps they're asking for SAML.
