Are there any plans to provide URLs that are accessible from outside the repository.

Here is a use case:

User 1
- Right-clicks on a diagram and select (new option) "Copy link to diagram" (just as in OneNote).
- Copy the link in an email.

Robot/daemon
- Create links to diagrams and puts them in emails or on a web site

User 2 (recipient)
- Clicks on a URL

EA
- Starts if was not already running
- Opens the diagram and makes it active

I made an add-in that fosters guids of elements, diagrams, attributes and operations. It takes the guid from the paste buffer. These guids can be sent in mails easily.

There used to be an open source project called "EA protocol handler" that does exactly this.

While we are not sure about the tools that exactly does the use-case that you have mentioned, there are indeed tools by Sparx Systems that let you share links of diagrams, packages, objects and even specific part of the EA models easily to anybody in the organization.
