Allow Element Label to be non-selectable
« on: June 05, 2020, 12:25:32 pm »
The label, which is often under the element, can be moved (which is good).

Sometimes we need to place the label in the centre of the element in order to save space on a cluttered diagram.  Eventually, the label size and the underlying element end up roughly the same size and it's REALLY, REALLY, difficult to select the element instead of the label.

We can change a number of the properties of the label.  Can we change the selectable property also?

Reported,
Paolo

Definitely like this = + 1
It would be useful if, when it is not selectable, it retains its exact position in relationship to the element, even if resized.
For connectors that is perhaps a little harder, but again retaining the exact position in relation to the end or centre would be beneficial

I'm sure it does. But it depends what point on the object it is maintaining a relationship to.
