v15.2 - Delete CSV Specification DOES NOT Check!
« on: June 24, 2021, 10:32:38 am »
The CSV specification needs some work from a UX experience point of view.  When you (usually accidentally - because the UI sucks) delete a specification, there is NO confirmation mechanism and all your hard work "goes down the drain".  (one of the reasons we don't use the UI to edit a spec, but instead edit the DB columns directly!)

In order to "Save As" an existing spec (so you can re-use a portion), you have to remove a field from the existing specification to enable the [Save As] button.  Notice, you have to remove (delete?) a field...  If you select the field and accidentally hit the [Delete] button since "it's closer to the action" than the [Remove Field] button, your WHOLE specification moves to another dimension - inaccessible to you!  It needs to provide a confirmation dialog!

Reported,
Paolo

They definitely have hired Richard Nixon's delete consultancy. Looking at Ctrl-D, Ctrl-Shift-Del and Crtl-D in its bahavior I don't have any words.
