Modeling Languages

In an age dominated by innovative technology and competitive market forces, there is an ever-increasing need for sophisticated solutions that are timely and error-free. Having a palette of expressive and industry-standard modeling languages gives you the power to express ideas, define contexts, design or describe solutions, and, most importantly, communicate and collaborate with others. In this topic, you will learn how to work with a number of these languages ranging from Value Chains, Business Process Diagrams, Domain Models,  Decision Tables, XML schemas, Software and Database Models, Cloud Infrastructure diagrams, and more.

You can create expressive and industry-compliant models of business, technology, or engineering systems using Enterprise Architect's built-in support for a range of modeling languages. You can articulate the different models, allowing visualizations such as how strategic models relate to Process models and how these are implemented by off-the-shelf or custom-built components and solutions. There is a formidable range of languages covering all aspects of business, technology, and engineering systems. The list of languages is always being added to as new standards are developed and includes, for example, the ability to model Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) Cloud infrastructure in Amazon, Microsoft, and Google platforms.

The languages are included as MDG technologies, and these can be added to personal or mode-based perspectives allowing you to configure which languages you use for your projects.
