Annotated Bookmarks

Annotated Bookmarks can be used to clearly highlight specific Elements in a diagram with a marker showing simple text or numbers. Annotated Bookmarks provide a means of identifying Elements that need to be brought to the foreground when displaying a model or for highlighting Elements that require further work.

Bookmark Options

Description

Bookmark a selected element in a diagram

To set an annotated Bookmark:

  • Select an Element
  • Select 'Set Bookmark Value' from the context menu
  • Tick the 'Enable Bookmark' checkbox
  • Type in a numerical or text value for the bookmark
  • Click on the OK button.

Clear a bookmark on a selected element

To clear an annotated Bookmark:

  • Select an Element
  • Select 'Set Bookmark Value' from the context menu
  • Un-tick the 'Enable Bookmark'  checkbox
  • Click on the OK button.

Hide/Show Annotated Bookmarks in a Diagram

You can hide or show all bookmarks on a diagram using the 'Hide All Bookmark Values' or 'Show all Bookmark Values' options on the Diagram Context menu.
