Set Element Font

When you display an element on a diagram, the text font defaults to a global setting defined from the 'Diagram Appearance' page of the 'Preferences' dialog. You can change this global default setting if you need to. On the diagram, however, you might want to change the font only on a specific element or group of elements, to distinguish them from other elements. You have several options for doing this.

Access

Select the element in a diagram, then use one of these options.

Ribbon

Layout > Style > Set Font icon (Set Font)

Diagram

Click on an element | (Format Toolbar) | (Set Font)

or

Right-click an element | click (Set Font)  in the toolbar above the context menu

  • If the current font color is a custom color applied through, for example, the Format Toolbar in the diagram, that color is second in the list, identified by the 'Custom' option
