Cloud Services Configuration Client

At any point after installation you can connect to the Cloud Service using the Cloud Services Configuration Client (SSCloudServicesClient.exe).

By default this is accessible from: '...\Program Files (x86)\Sparx Systems\Cloud Services\Client'.

The Cloud Services Configuration Client can be used from any machine on your local network; however, communications between it and the Cloud Service are not secure, so it should not be used from outside a secure network.

The Cloud Services Configuration Client is used to configure various settings related to the Cloud service and the repositories it connects to. When the application first starts, a prompt displays to log into a Cloud service (see Logon screen for more details). Once you have logged in, the 'Sparx Systems Cloud Services Configuration Client' dialog displays.

The Cloud Services Configuration Client dialog

This dialog shows a list of all defined repositories for the Cloud Server and, for each one, the number of active user connections and the total number of connections possible. It is also the entry point for all management functions; that is, new repositories can be created, existing ones edited and old ones removed.

Sparx Systems Cloud Services support connections to these DBMS products:

  • Firebird
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • MySQL
  • Oracle
  • PostgreSQL
