Deployment Toolbox

The Deployment Toolbox provides model elements that you can use to model the physical components and deployment structure of your system in a Deployment diagram. The Deployment group contains elements related to the actual building of the system - the hardware or software Components that make up the system (such as ActiveX DLLs or Web Servers) and the physical platforms (Nodes) those Components run on (such as a Windows 2000 Server), including the physical connections between Nodes.

The 'Basic Deployment' icon adds the Basic Deployment Pattern to your diagram as a starting point for developing the diagram (drag the icon onto the diagram to open the 'Add Pattern <name> to Diagram' dialog and click on the OK button).
